Under 21 prices are the same for the dances; with entry for males at $18.00 and Under 21 females at $10.00.

   Very interesting stage. Shaped like a Y with a protrusion it reminded me of the currency symbol for the Japanese Yen (¥ ) but then it only had on line and it didn't cross the base. The stage isn't raised enough for stools but instead has tables around the stage.

    Club is medium size. The chairs are those uncomfortable funeral parlor style that are so popular with strip clubs. There are too many chairs and too many tables as well. The chairs are backs to the wall with no gap between the chairs. The table only gap about 2 inches between them so you have to pull the table out to get to a chair and there's just no way to do it without hitting the next table. No good way for a table dance.

   The lighting is good. The waitress was good.

   This has nothing to do with Filly's but it was interesting listening to the waitress try to explain the drinking rules to a new dancer...

The soap box, please. The ALE is trying to claim that the dancers are employees and are bound by the rules for employees... Dancers are independent contractors. They are not employees of the club. Never have been in any club in North Carolina. ALE just makes up any rule they want then the clubs have to go along or spend a few hundred thousand dollars fighting it in court. It's stupid and silly but explains why so many of the dancers now drink bottled water... sigh.

   Great VIP room at Filly's. Not crowded at all with plenty of room for the dancer. Couch's are new and comfortable. Well lit -- not to bright, not to dim. Mirrors on the ceiling and a band of pink neon make for a nice relaxing atmosphere. If it wasn't for the dance, I'd probably have just laid down and gone to sleep.

   Wide variety of dancers. All good looking and friendly.

Pros:

   Reasonable prices, good variety of dancers, great VIP room. Convenient to I-40 business or by-pass.

Cons:

   Cost structure too complex for the WOM.

   Overall, Filly's gets 4 (out of 5) hand mirrors from the Wize Old Man.

Friendly dancers, some really hot & blonde, a few past their prime. VIP dances usually are good & long. Worth a buck for a grind from these hunnies.

I quit frequenting strip clubs years ago but after a persistent begging from my friends we all decided to go try out this club. IT WAS GREAT. Best club I have ever been to and I have been to clubs in Greensboro, Atlanta, Asheville, etc... I will never go anywhere else ever. The atmosphere was friendly and casual and laid back enough to really relax. All the dancers were attractive, professional, and would actually sit and talk with you as if you were not invisible. VIP dances are 20.00 and well worth it. I had 7 and could have kept going easily. I sat in the VIP room and had a long conversation with one of the dancers for about an hour (at no charge lol). Bottom line is everyone there including the staff, dancers, and audience all seemed to have a great time. The y-shaped stage is great for a good view of all the action also. I highly recommend this club especially if you are going alone or have given up on the garden variety clubs of the past where you felt unwelcome. FILLY'S IS A+ 5 STARS IN MY BOOK. -- GB
