09/2009 New laws in Houston County make it illegal to start a new strip club and extremely difficult to maintain a club already existing before the law was enacted.
I suppose the clubs inside the city of Dothan will fall first, followed by the clubs that are located in remote areas of Houston County hoping to go unnoticed. The last to fall will be the clubs that can actually pass the stringent undercover investigations... they will become so benign from complying with the law that they will lose business and self-implode. ~Buck
I have not the words to say how wrong this is. It's blandly illegal to not allow a strip club. We, who prize our freedoms so highly, are so quick to give them up. Seems like the only group left that actually believe the Constitution is a good thing is the ACLU. Certainly politicos at the local level don't care about what is legal, or what is right anymore... ~ WOM
